Communicate effectively with ease and satisfaction

Working in teams brings unique rewards and difficulties. Among the most challenging dimensions is that as human beings, we are inherently emotional creatures.  This raises the stakes for how we communicate in any interaction.

As such, how our own team members communicate with one another and with members of the public can result in a stronger connection or a broken bond. Poor interactions with others can impact our ability to provide our services, our relationships with those individuals, and our own personal well-being.

While many training programs for communication skills present complex step-by-step methodologies for handling difficult conversations, these methods tend to be difficult to remember and apply on the spot, particularly when emotions run high. In this workshop, participants will instead learn one simple active listening practice that can be applied consistently across any kind of interaction to increase connection and settle conflict. With this skill, participants will improve their customer service and increase trust with team members, all without giving in to upset reactions or demands.

Participants will come away equipped with:

  • An essential communication skill necessary to handle any conversation

  • A listening practice that will grow their personal and team resiliency

  • Confidence in their ability to approach their next difficult conversation with ease
